Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Graviti Labs (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use Coult — our todo and reminder app — across web, iOS, macOS, watchOS, and Android. We built Coult to be private by default and we collect only what the app needs to work.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, and a display name and avatar if you choose to add them. Email is required to create an account.
- Your content — the tasks, notes, code snippets, folders, tags, and checklists you create in the app.
- Sign-in identifiers — if you sign in with GitHub, Google, or Apple, we receive a unique identifier and your email from that provider to authenticate you.
- Technical & diagnostic data — basic logs and, where enabled, crash diagnostics used to keep the service reliable. We do not build advertising profiles.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, or biometric data, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
How we use your information
We use your information only to: operate and secure your account; store and sync your tasks across your devices; provide features you request (such as reminders, search, and exports); comply with legal obligations; and improve the reliability of the service. We do not use your content to train models or for advertising.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only with service providers that host and operate Coult on our behalf (for example, our cloud server provider), bound to handle it solely for that purpose, and where required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and content until you delete them. You can delete individual items at any time, and you can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete account, or by emailing us. Deletion is irreversible and removes your data from our active systems.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Coult lets you export everything to JSON, CSV, or Markdown at any time, and delete your account yourself. To exercise any other right, contact us at info@gravitilabs.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Security
All traffic between your devices and Coult is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Authentication uses secure, httpOnly session cookies on the web and the platform keychain/keystore on mobile. We apply access controls and rate limiting and keep our systems patched. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard safeguards.
Children
Coult is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the age defined by your local law). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Coult is operated from servers in the European Union. If you access it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws; we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistently with this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
